The stylish appearance and user friendliness make the VERITAS 8 ideal for the home or workplace with touch button control, LED indication and the ability to monitor 8 separate zones, which can be set to detect intruders, personal attack buttons and smoke detectors. All functions are programmable using the non-volatile memory although most factory settings are sufficient for most installations. Zones that can be programmed to behave in a number of different ways and contains inputs for PIR and magnetic detectors. Multiple detectors can be wired to each zone. Panic function allows personal attack or distress buttons to be incorporated. Operates even if the alarm is not set. Tamper function gives 24 hour monitoring of the systems wiring. Operates even if the alarm is not set. Part set facility provides a single button night setting for pre-programmed zones. Chime function emits an audible sound if a zone is entered. Suitable for use with most bell boxes, PIRs, magnetic contacts, smoke detectors, panic buttons etc.
