Description

Control Panel + Keypad

I-ON40 is a 40 zone control unit for hybrid wired/wirefree alarm systems intended for domestic and light commercial use.

The control unit comprises an end station with remote keypads. The simple-to-install end station has an ABS plastic case which contains the radio transceiver, power supply and backup battery. Up to four keypads connect to the end station by standard alarm cable, allowing the end user to set and unset the system, and the installer to fully configure the control unit. The keypads also contain integral proximity tag readers, so that end users can control the system without having to remember access codes.

The control unit works with Cooper Security Ltd's 700 series 868MHz narrowband wireless peripherals. These include:

During programming the installer can set up the system as either a part setting system with full set and three part sets, or a partitioned system where each of the four partitions has full set and a single part set.

The i-on40 offers a wide range of communication options. Plug-on modules provide connection to either the telephone system (PSTN), the mobile phone network (GSM) or the internet via Ethernet or GPRS. In addition, the control unit provides a set of output pins which can be used to drive stand-alone communicators.

To make the installation and maintenance simple, the control unit also provides an Ethernet connector for attaching PCs or laptops. The control unit can be programmed using a standard web browser from an Ethernet connected laptop..

Door Contact

The 734rEUR-00 and -01 transmitters are designed to work with any Scantronic 868MHz narrow band receiver. Both variants are two zone multi-function transmitters designed for use in any of the following applications:

When used with both internal reed switch and external sensors the transmitter takes up two zones (or channels) on the receiver.The external connector on the -00 variant is designed for four wire closed circuit sensors. The -01 variant is designed for Fully Supervised Loop (FSL) sensors.In both variants the case is protected by an internal back tamper switch and an internal lid tamper switch.

External Sounder

The 760ES is an external, self powered, siren and strobe unit designed to work with the I-ON range of control units.

Fitted within the enclosure are twin sounders capable of exceeding 100dB(A), a radio transceiver operating on 868MHz, a battery pack and a LED strobe strip. The unit can be mounted on any non-metallic vertical surface. The range of operation from the control unit may vary depending on the site conditions and in particular the material of walls between the two units. In free air the range will easily exceed 100m.

This product is suitable for use in systems designed to comply with EN 50131-1:2006 and PD6662:2004 +A1+A2 at Grade 2 and is tested to prEN 50131-4:2008 at Grade 2.

Internal Sounder

A sleek white low profile louvre-free housing containing either a 16ohm speaker, that will blend discreetly into any surrounding setting.

Remote Control Key Fob

The i-fb01 can be used to remotely set, part set and unset your i-on16 or i-on40 alarm system.

The i-fb01 comes with our unique super-encrypted rolling code transmission, making unauthorised usage extremely unlikely. And to ensure your transmitter is always working, the long-life lithium battery sends a signal when less than one month’s operation remains.

All this in a keyfob designed to fit comfortably in your pocket or on your keyring.

Speech Dialler

The I-SD02 module is designed to fit on the I-ON40 control unit. The I-SD02 allows the control unit to report alarm conditions over the public switched telephone network (PSTN) using either recorded speech messages, or standard alarm signalling protocols.
